Our Story

The HSA Alumni & Business Club was founded with a vision to support the Happiness Studies Academy’s students and graduates in their journey to bring the happiness revolution to their communities, their clients, and the world.

We are a diverse group of committed people who got together to create a platform for networking, shared resources, best practices, ideas, and more.

We are a happy, global, diverse, and growing community that feels like family.

We believe in human potential based on virtues and values, in the right that every person has to flourish, and in our personal responsibility to make it happen while giving ourselves permission to be human on this journey.

We are motivated by being of service, improving lives, and sharing our knowledge while inspiring others. We are fueled by the hope that our wisdom and passion can alleviate suffering and help others shine.

We are committed to growing and developing ourselves and paying it forward by leveraging the SPIRE model and evidence-based science to spread happiness and improve the world's whole being leading by example.

HSA Student's Manifesto

This platform provides opportunities for all members to share their knowledge, experience, skills, and gifts with each other and the world.

It also supports graduates in developing and expanding their businesses based on the Happiness Studies Academy teachings by providing them with business education, courses, mentoring, and exclusive growth and business opportunities.

Our members enjoy an extensive library of resources, monthly topics, guest speakers, networking, virtual and in-person events, retreats, educational events and discussions, exclusive business opportunities for graduates, and many tools to develop their careers and happiness centers. Most of all, we are a community of like-minded, passionate individuals around the globe who are committed to living the principles of SPIRE while having fun.

Happiness is important to us. We prioritize enjoyment and fun in working together.

Diversity is our strength. We foster diversity and inclusion and celebrate our differences.

Together we grow and prosper. We always do our best to serve and add value to the team and the community.

As a community, we give and receive. We collaborate, lift up, mentor and support each other.

We have a Growth Mindset (curiosity, hunger to learn, humility, open to possibilities, love challenges and learn from our mistakes).

Our Values

We practice positive communication (active listening, appreciative inquiry, assertiveness, transparency, and non violent communication).

We honor our commitments with professionalism and accountability.

We are compassionate with ourselves and each other (permission to be human).

We build a psychologically safe environment where we feel safe to be ourselves and share our gifts.

Our Structure

The club is run by and for HSA students and alumni. We are all volunteers who give our time, knowledge, and experience to make the magic happen.

The work is done in committees that also provide volunteer opportunities to our members who are interested in giving back and sharing their gifts with us.
