Does Spirituality Influence Happiness and Academic Performance? by Rajasekhar David The study examines spirituality, forgiveness, and gratitude's impact on academic performance, proposing a model showing spirituality moderates the mediation effect of happiness between forgiveness/gratitude and performance. Results from 220 management students reveal positive relationships between forgiveness/gratitude, happiness, and performance. Spirituality moderates forgiveness's impact on happiness and mediates gratitude's effect on performance. This innovative approach from positive psychology highlights character strengths and well-being's influence on academic success. The authors may present findings that demonstrate a positive correlation between spirituality and happiness, as well as exploring the potential indirect effects of spirituality on academic performance through its impact on psychological and emotional factors.

A Time to Dance: The Life and Work of Norma Canner This intimate documentary profiles Norma Canner, a pioneer in dance movement therapy, who found in dance a way to help those discarded by society. The film traces the evolution of Norma's career from Broadway actress in the '40s, through her ground-breaking work in creative movement with disabled and mentally retarded children in the '60s, to her present work with adults as a dance therapist. Utilizing art, music, drama, and dance in the context of therapy, her work has proved extraordinarily beneficial for handicapped individuals, as well as providing cathartic healing experiences for those with deep emotional scars; and her pioneering work with blind, deaf, and autistic children has become a model for practitioners worldwide. This film is an inspiring tale of a woman who followed her own heart and in the process helped others to heal themselves.
